Our Highland Sod is a blend of 4 different Bluegrass varities grown on light farmland, which allows a deeper root system to form, holds a higher moisture content, and has less risk of disease, therefore a thicker, greener, healthier turf.

Highland Sod takes 12 to 18 months to mature before harvest,  insuring more maturity when you receive it.  You may hear Highland sod also refered as Mineral Sod also.
